It happens only rarely, but occasionally one of our colleagues gets an offer they can’t refuse.
Earlier this month, Katie Schubert left CRD Associates to join the Society for Maternal and Fetal Medicine (SMFM).
Those of you who know Katie will recognize this as a perfect fit, both personally and professionally. From a professional standpoint, Katie certainly has the requisite knowledge and experience in the field of infant and children’s health. In addition to working with SMFM, Katie has devoted the past eight years to representing the American Society for Pediatric Nephrology. She’s also been a tireless advocate on behalf of Alpha1, the Endocrine Society, the Adult Congenital Heart Association, the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network and the American Association for Respiratory Care.
Katie also serves on the Board of Directors of the John E. Lewy Foundation for Children’s Health and is President of Women in Government Relations.
As a mother of three young children, Katie will bring a unique personal touch to her new job.
We’re all going to miss Katie’s wise counsel, her calming approach and—probably most of all—her warm smile. We wish her all the best in her new adventure.
