CRD Senior Vice President Mark Vieth recently appeared on Comcast Newsmakers to discuss the work of our client, the Defense Health Research Consortium, a coalition of patient advocacy organizations, medical societies and veterans organizations that advocate for funding for the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs at the Department of Defense. Since January, 2014, Mark has served as the coordinator of this consortium and has helped to harness the grassroots power of each member organization into a collective strategy designed to ensure continued funding through the annual Defense Appropriations Act.
