CRD Associates is thrilled to announce that Senior Vice President Katie Schubert has been elected as the next President of Women in Government Relations (WGR). Her two-year term begins July 1, 2016.
Founded in 1975, Women in Government Relations (WGR) is one of the most respected non-profit, non-partisan government relations associations in Washington. WGR is dedicated to advancing and empowering women by fostering professional development and growth opportunities through a community that supports women’s leadership in government relations.
“I am honored to be trusted with leading WGR over the next two years. I look forward to meeting as many of our over 1,100 members as I can, and working with others in leadership to advance and empower women in this field. As a long-time WGR Empowerment Network member, I’m grateful to CRD for supporting my efforts with WGR over the years,” said Katie.
Katie currently serves as WGR’s Treasurer. Prior to her election to the WGR Executive Committee she served on the Board of Directors and as a Task Force co-chair. You can read more about Katie and her practice here.
