Jonathan Daniels is a government affairs practitioner with more than a decade of experience in developing strategies and direct lobbying on behalf of numerous domestic and global health organizations. Jonathan develops and executes lobbying strategies for individual organizations as well as coalitions on federal appropriations and authorizing legislation on health care issues ranging from program support to research & development, and serves as Deputy Director of the Coalition for Health Funding.
Before joining CRD Associates, Jonathan was the lead federal lobbyist at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, managing a portfolio that included health insurance issues and product development policy. He previously served as the lead federal relations manager for Aeras, a TB vaccine product developer, where he led a multistakeholder campaign that resulted in a $5 million clinical trial grant for a novel vaccine still in development. Jonathan also has significant experience facilitating opportunities for grassroots and grasstops advocates to make an impact on Capitol Hill. He has served on the steering committees of multiple issue-based coalitions, including the Partnership to Protect Coverage and the Global Health Technologies Coalition.
In addition to loving his day job delivering for clients, Jonathan also loves his family, music (both playing and listening), history, pop culture, and sports. And good food (and bad food).
