CRD ASSOCIATES TO REPRESENT STATE OF IOWA

October 28, 2003

Cavarocchi-Ruscio-Dennis Associates, LLC is pleased to announce that the firm has been retained to represent the State of Iowa before the U.S. Congress and the Bush administration.

CRD Associates will be working in partnership with the firms of Griffin, Johnson and Jacob Kuitwaard & Associates as well as the State's Department of Economic Development and Finance Authority, to help achieve Iowa's economic development and housing goals.

This is part of a bold agenda set by Iowa Governor Tom Vilsack to transform and expand the State's economic base. The Governor's vision would capitalize on Iowa's high ranking in educational excellence, livability, and business climate to revitalize its manufacturing sector, become a national leader in life sciences, and build upon its existing base in financial services, information technology and insurance.

For its part, CRD Associates will commit a team of experts to this initiative to secure federal appropriations in support of the Governor's objectives. This effort will be led by the firm's senior associate, Mark Vieth, who has extensive experience with federal economic development programs. Prior to joining the firm in 2002, Mr. Vieth served as Chief-of-Staff to U.S. Representative Robert A. Borski of Philadelphia, where he was instrumental in securing economic development aid for both the City of Philadelphia and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
